Mindful Eating with Dr. Carrie

Join us for an afternoon of meditation and mindfulness surrounding everyday habits that most of us do not give much extra thought — walking, prepping meals, and EATING! Every day we mindlessly prepare and consume meals, snacks, and drinks to sustain ourselves without any thought as to how they are affecting us internally and externally. Join Dr. Carrie Burger for an opportunity to learn to become more aware of the present moment by savoring these things and find what serenity and better understanding it may cultivate.

After a centering practice, and learning the keys of walking meditation, enjoy fellowship with others as we prepare a salad, mindfully chopping, peeling and mixing ingredients until we have a feast for the senses prepared to share and savor with the group through mindful eating practices.
